Floral Favor box

Spring is here!!!

Hello my crafty friends! Isn't this little flower box adorable? I found the Free svg file over at Denise's blog here... http://dscrapbookingroom.blogspot.com/2009/03/floral-favor-box-svg-file.html  She is so talented and shares many of her wonderful files. You must visit her site.

You can have fun decorating this little flower box with all kinds of patterned papers or ink it up like I did. I added Tim Holtz ink on the petals and Tri-Chem candy creations glitter to the inked black flower underneath. To give the flower a raised look, I added glue dots under each pedal. The added shear black polka dot bow adds a delicate touch. To finish the flower, I added a circle of tiny pearls. I had so much fun making the heart buttons with my New Epiphany tool. I stamped the pink paper as I did with the box and put it in the Epiphany tool. In the picture it kind of blends in, but in person it adds a special touch. I Love the Epiphany and it's soooo easy to make buttons to match your creations.
The large flower holds the box together and creates a middle for your flower.
This is the HEART BUTTON!

The box open to put goodies and things in :)
This is how the box looks unfinished and with another type flower & leaf for the top. Have fun with this Free file and have a blessed day!

Spring Paper Flowers

I had fun making Mary's spring flower collection over at svgcuts.com They are so easy
to make and each one is unique. On the pink carnation, I added a little pom pom to the middle. You can add buttons, jewels and even make your own button hearts with the Epiphany tool. I just got the heart button tool and am waiting for the heart inserts in the mail. I can't wait to start creating with it. I'll showcase them soon! Yeah!! It's here! The one in the middle is one of the Heart Button I created! Mary has a tutorial showing step by step instructions for each flower. There are a couple of  svg files from Penny Duncan site and also spiral flowers by Bird. I will be making a surprise creation when I'm finished with all these pretty flowers. Thanks for looking and have a wonderful day.

Spring Owl Pillow Boxes

I think the little Owl's are adorable! I first saw these cute Owl's over at http://www.cardalacarte.com/2011/03/owls.html  She did a Great job! I love the colors! Then I noticed that they originally flew over from Lynn's page at http://thequeensscene.blogspot.com/2011/01/whooo-loves-ya.html She made a darling card also.

I think they turned out so cute! I'm going to be making more, soon :)   I used the polygon6 and all the other shapes to create the feathers, eyes, beak and feet in the eCal software with my eClips machine. You could use various punches also. I think the next time I will use a flower petal shape for the feathers so they look more real and heavier card stock so they fluff out.  It's so easy to make these pillow box Owls and would be a darling gift or party favor. Cut out Rose Thank You Card

I really love the way this little card turned out. First I inked the edges with soft pink and embossed the middle section and also inked it.  I added
stick-on letters, a pink gem and one of my feather butterfly.  A really sweet card to make.

These darling purses were so easy to make.  It cuts out in one main piece with a couple small pieces for the handle to glue. I inked one blue with a scroll stamp and added a blue gem and blue paper flower that I made. You can get the flower svg files over at svgcuts.com. The black one was stamped with a cat and inked the edges. I made the black brad with the brad maker. The red and yellow flowered one was cut with designer paper and I made a paper rose to match.  That's it! Soooo cute! You can get the Free file over at

Spring Hummingbird Card

This adorable little Hummingbird has dropped in to say that Spring time is coming. The svg
file can be found at svgcuts.com Mary has many Free file to share and they cut out perfectly. This was
a really easy card to make. In fact I made it in less that 30 mins. I used another of Martha Stewart's punches for the side. Glued a few pieces and glittered the wing and throat. I think the black and white dotted bow added the final touch.  This was cut with my eClips/eCal machine. I love my machine!!! Have a wonderful day!

Spring Flower Pot Card

Looks like Spring is poppin up all around us. This svg file can be found over at
Mary's svgcuts.com site. The flowers and bow are one file and the pot is another file. I used
Martha Steward punch down the right side of the card and yellow dotted ribbon up the left. The pot is inked with distressed Tim Holtz inks. I added glitter and put rhinestones in each flower and tied the bow. Fun card to make and very easy. Thanks for looking.
