Summer Street Ferris Wheel 3D Paper Craft

~A Big Hello to all my Crafty friends~

Step Right Up to the Big Top!

Come right on in and join the fun!
It's that time of year for Carnivals, Peanuts, Popcorn and cotton candy. Today's featured item is this miniture life like Ferris Wheel. This was an amazing project to make and the results were Spectacular. This takes time and patience but all and all it went together pretty easy. What a great Centerpiece for a party or event! It stands over 14" tall and swirls around, just like the real ones. How fun is that! I used 12x12 card stock and a balloon patterned paper with my Sizzix eClip/eCal machine. Great files and great fun! Well, that's it for today for me. Have a great week and remember to smile because, You Are Special.

I used Lisa's glittered pom poms!

Bubble Bottle and Blower Card

Summer Fun!
Bubble Bottle and Blower card!
Another cute cutout card from Mary's Free svg files. You can get the file at svgcuts.com.
I welded it in eCal to make a cutout card. The wand is  two layers and connected to the bottle and bubble to make it stronger to open up. I glued a black wand on the inside also. I cut it out in white card stock and inked the colors with Tim Holtz inks.  Then I added two star jewels that were actually decor for your fingernails. I think it turned out very cool!
Have a great day!

Little Missy Turtle Cutout Card

Hello Everyone!

This cute little turtle waddled into my craft room today. I wanted to create a cutout card and as I was looking through my files, this little turtle pops up and says "Make Me".  Sooo I did! She turned out soooo cute! And, she was very easy and quick to make. The paper I used was embossed green dots by Nana's Kids Print 12x12 from Joann's. The file is cut in three pieces. I added google eyes and inked her shell and pinked her little cheeks. You can add a fancy bow or possibly a Top Hat.

I used weld to the shape in eCal software and cut with my Sizzix eClips machine. I just love my machine!
You can get the Free Turtle file over at Mary & Leo's svg site here

Have a great weekend my friends!
Remember that you are a very special person!

Marie Antoinette Paper Shoe

Hello my crafty Friends!
Today is the first day of Summer! Yes, it's very warm here in the high desert and I love it!
I was inspired to make this very delicate and fancy Marie Antoinette shoe. You can view the video here http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=9_b36F1CvIQ

You can also view some of the lovely shoes Martica made here

I used white card stock, Jewels, lace, pearls and ribbon and topped it with a flower. I printed out the picture of Marie and cut it to fit inside.

For the heel, I cut a piece of a empty paper towel roll and cut slits all the way around it and glued it to the bottom of the sole. I then added gold ribbon and used the glue gun to hold it.

I think it turned out simply beautiful. And, you can place a collection of lace and ribbon inside for a special gift. Until next time, Happy Crafting!

Poplar Street Cake Pedestal

Hello everyone!
Is it time for you to Celebrate? This really cute Pedestal would make the perfect addition to any wedding, or party function. A very easy and fun project to make and is sturdy enough to hold even this lovely glass swan. I used chipboard for the top circle and added extra strength to the legs. Great for a table decoration or individual groupings. You can choose many beautiful papers to compliment your pretty Pedestal and event.  Thanks for looking and have a safe and wonderful weekend my crafty friends.  And remember, that you are Special!

Happy Father's Day to all the Father's!

3D Bon Voyage Paper Airplane Candy Holder

Flying High!
Hello my crafty friends!

I was inspired to make this plane while visiting Kimberlyrae's site http://kreationsbykimberlyrae.com/blog/
She made one for her Nephew Paul, who just came back to the states from serving our country. I really love how her plane turned out and I'm sure Paul will cherish it.

I had so much fun making this really cool airplane. I couldn't find any of those chocolate caramel rolls like Kimberly used, so I used a plastic tube that I picked up at the dollar store. It holds a plastic sports watch and fits perfectly for the body of the plane. You can leave the watch in or take it out and add M & M or whatever candy you like. I cut the plane out in white card stock and heavy blue glitter papers on eClips machine. I glued the white and blue papers together to make it sturdy. I added a gold brad to the propeller and glued it to the lid of the tube. I glued 2 large and 2 small buttons for the wheels and added the American flag and star stickers. I think it turned out really cool. These super fun and easy planes would make a great addition to any party or surprise gift for someone special.

Sand & Beach themed card

Hello everyone! Time to think Summer! I had so much fun making this really cute Clam Shell card. I added a Honeycomb shape to hold a little pearl (glittered pom pom) inside. You can view the video at http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/honeycombshapes/P40/

You can get the svg file over at Jani's below

I need to redo the honey comb because I added glitter glue and it stuck some of the
layers together :(   I would have liked putting it in the middle, but it needs to be on a fold.  Its a very cute idea! Thanks for looking.
