Camp Smore Vintage 3D Lantern

Hello my dear friends!
I made this really cute Vintage lantern from one of Mary kits called Camp Smore here

I really had fun cutting this svg file out on my eclips machine. This was a pretty simple project to make and most of all the added tea-light that makes it glow when it gets dark. Gotta love the super effect. Great way to save on electricity!! I'll be making more of these Lanterns to put around the house at
This is the back where you can put a battery tea light. You can't use a real candle because the lantern is made of paper :) The tea lights are perfect!
I added heart brass brads to hold the handles. You can choose most any colors for your lantern and it will look great. Most of all have fun!
I cut the moths out of velum and added a center from an old flower and inked the edges with Tim Holtz distressed inks.
 Another moth with brown gems.

I added green jeweled ribbon to the top and a brown button to the front of the Lantern.

This is the finished Lantern! I think it turned out simply grand and would make a great gift for anyone that loves camping or the great outdoors. Also to put around the house for a special effect at night.
That's it for today my friends!
Have a great week and keep an eye open for more exciting projects coming your way.
