 Hello my Dear friends!

I've been wanting to make this darling lantern since I got Mary's Crisp Days of Fall  kit. It's super easy and fun to cut and assemble. This lantern is in a kit that come with a Yummy pumpkin pie box, pumpkin card, matchbox and more.from Mary's svg site. She has the Best svg creations around and they are truly a piece of art.  I just happened to find this site and fell in love with all the Beautiful

I was like a kid in a candy store....lol

It's FREE at Computer Scrapbook

I found some fall leaves in my stash and added pop dots. I should have cut some out and inked them, but hey, its Sunday...lol

I use some gold stretch cord so you can hang it.
Do you see the orange showing through the black? Well, I wanted my Lantern to be extra sturdy so I cut two layers out in black and orange and glued them together. So, the inside is bright orange and with the orange plastic, it gives a very beautiful effect.

My eClips cut's such details like butter!
Gotta Love my eClips!
You can get a great combo deal over at Pumpkin Patch Stamp site. Just look to your left on my sidebar for the link. Great stamp too.

Since I didn't have any velum, I used orange plastic file folders that I had from the dollar store. They cut out great on my eClips and the orange give a beautiful glow.

This the back for the candle to sit. I just love that little tea light, it flickers so pretty. I can't wait to see how it looks tonight. Hey, I can save on my Electric bill! What a deal! LOL

I can see it now, flickering tea lights all through the house :)

I hope that I've sparked your imagination this fine Sunday. These darling lanterns would be great gifts and decorations this fall season. Super fun to make and Super fun to give to all your friends.

Oh, a hint to name that song on my last post

Happy Fall Y'All Pumpkin Shape Card Tag

Happy Fall Y'all!
Well, it still doesn't feel like fall, ya know.
But if your have your air on, get dressed in  your short and thongs, it doesn't seem so HOT. LOL
Oh, did you notice that I finally changed to a Fall theme on my blog? I hope you like it!

I've been in my crafty room, All By Myself, creating this adorable little Pumpkin tag card. I was inspired by Ashley's blog here http://theglamoroussideofscrapping.blogspot.com/2012/09/happy-fall-yall-shape-card.html  She has a great tutorial on how to shape this into a card.

The original svg file is FREE from KaDoodles for a limited time, so Hurry over & get it.

I first made a shadow layer of the pumpkin shape and welded a rectangle so it could be a little card tag. I then cut a whole black pumpkin and glued it to the white card and then added the three pumpkin layers and used pop dots to give it a nice look.  It turned out perfect and would make a great gift tag for all your tricks and treats.

 I like FREE!
Isn't the background paper beautiful? It's Free over at  Free Digital Scrapbooking here

For the black background, I made a shadow layer.for each word. I used Tim Holtz Distressed inks in different colors to give it some pizzazz. LOL

I cut two leaves and inked them both and put pop dots to make them stand out.

I think it turned out adorable! Great Fall gift tag for any package, bag or plate of cookies.Oh, better yet, my little Pumpkin breads. Did I tell you, I Love to Bake and Craft? Yes, I sure do and I will be making super delicious Pumpkin breads for all my friends and neighbors. Wish you were my neighbor!

I made these incredible Harvest Turnover last night that are the cat's Meow. You can see some pictures of the delicious Turnovers on Kevin's blog here and you can read my comment too.You have to taste these!!!!!

Well, I hope I inspired you just a little bit and got you in the festive mood. Fall is a wonderful time of year, and it will be here, I hope in a few weeks or less.

Name this song!
"When I was young, I never needed anyone"

Clue....Celine!
I will post the Title of the song on my next posting.

Have a wonderful day and I will see you all soon.

Are you ready for this Adorable Skating Cardinal?
I sure am!
It's been over 100 degrees here in Apple Valley and the only way to be cool is to start thinking cool....LOL  I am sooooo ready for cooler weather!

This darling Skating Cardinal  is from the Merry and Bright Christmas kit with the video tutorial over at Mary's svg site below

PLUS... if you make a purchase you can get her Fun Halloween Candy Boxes
 FREE a $6.99 Value FREE

All Marys Kits have great step by step tutorial on how to glue everything together.

This little bird tag can actually be made as a large card or a small Christmas tag.
I made the Christmas tag first and re sized all the pieces in eCal. This was all cut out in white card stock and inked with Tim Holtz distressed inks. Nope, I don't work for them, but I should...LOL I Love his inks!  I embossed the skates, yep upside down..ha  I think it looks alright and I didn't do that on purpose. What is that ole saying, "If the Shoe Fits Wear It"! Well, they wouldn't fit any other way....unless I had him skate backwards..hehe  It was just one of those days! Luckily I didn't glue anything backwards today :)

I inked my first tag in turquoise blue with a green & white scarf and added a gem. I used a pop dot under his wing to make it stand out. A Super simple tag to make for your Holiday packages and treats.

This is the inside sentiment, stamped again in Tim Holtz ink.

This tag I inked in sky blue and the scarf in green and embossed his wing. The colors are really more vibrant in person, so excuse the pics. My floppy disc camera is probably over 15 yrs old, no wonder. They don't make them anymore....haha  I need to put that on my Christmas list!

Hey, the dots are not inside out on this tag or are they. After awhile you start seeing dots....lol
Practice makes perfect, they say!

I added the inked and embossed snowflake and may add a little bit of glitter to give it pizazz.

Well, he's off and running.....or I mean Skating!

I hope you enjoyed my cute little Christmas Cardinal tags today. I really had fun making them.

Now I'm off and running too!
Tootle Doo's my friends!
Have a wonderful day and see you next time!

Poinsettia Flower Decoration

Good Morning My Friends!
Starting to make my quick and easy Christmas decorations.

Today, I thought I would share this fast and simple Poinsettia. I sized this extra large so it could be placed on a large package or bag, but you can cut it in all sizes to suit your taste. You can also add some  glitter gold ribbons or most any color for a finished touch.
This was cut out in white card stock and inked, yes with Tim Holtz distressed inks. I Love his inks! The stamen was inked and then glittered with Tri Chem Candy Creations. I added a gem and also put red beads around it. Quick and simple!

For the back, I glued a cutout oval to finish it off.

You can get some great 3D Christmas flowers & Pinecone with video tutorials at Mary's  http://svgcuts.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=4&products_id=152&zenid=663cd6af4a1a59f4f7dc7460b731cac9

Misty GD "Guest Designer"

  Hello again my Dear Friends!

It's official!
Autumn has begun!  But, it's so hot out, even the little birdies aren't sure if it will Ever get cold.

I just had to share this really detailed paperscape hanging with you.
 Isn't it just beautiful!
I think I'll be hanging it in my craft room, it's so colorful and pretty.
The details on the birds wing and head are incredible.
Where did I find such a gorgeous project you ask?
I'll give you one guess! Mary's svg cuts site. She creates the most amazing svg cutting file that you would ever want to make. The detail and expertise that go into all her designs are amazing. First and foremost, she is the nicest person you would ever want to meet. And don't forget Leo, a sweetheart and so talented. You should check out his tutorials.that bring all of Mary's creations to life. So, If your looking for svg files that have a special flair and  will knock your socks off, it's svgcuts.com.
Click below to get this project and visit their site.

You also might want to visit their Friendly Facebook page and join in the fun. Everyone enjoys sharing their creations and special talents. Go check it out and say that Misty sent you :) Most of all have FUN!

The flowers are so delicate and very easy to assemble. I used colored pencils, inks and Tri Chem Candy creations glitter paints.

I added the butterfly from Penny Duncan's site. Actually, I bought these particular butterflies from her for my mom back in January. My mom would have Loved this Paperscape hanging in her room as she Loved birds. I remember when this little bird came to her with a broken wing. She nursed it back to health with her home remedies. She opened up a Wheat Germ capsule and poured it on the open wing and within days, the little bird was showing signs of healing. Over the months, the little birds wing had healed and was able to fly again. She would wait for that little bird to visit her and set up housekeeping in one of many, bird hanging baskets. She loved all birds and animals and  I miss her dearly.

I have to share this with you!
Just last week, I cut my bottom lip open on a shopping cart while at Lowes.  My bottom teeth went right through my bottom lip as I was putting a Large bag of fertilizer in the bottom of the shopping cart. Boy, did that hurt! So, I remembered that story about the birds broken wing and thought, I would give it a try. I came home and opened up a Wheat Germ oil capsule and dabbed it on. It felt good so I kept putting it on every couple hours. Well, you know, after only a few days, my lip healed up. I still have a bump but it's all healed. Making a Note of that! LOL

Penny did a great job inking her butterflies and adding details. Check her site out, she has some wonderful projects and videos to share also.

You can see the details that went into making up the birds wing. Actually, it was pretty easy to do and watching Leo's video tutorial made it all come together. I think the hardest part was inking each little piece...lol  I cut the whole bird out in white card stock and used Tim Holtz distressed inks. I just love his inks, they are so vibrant and beautiful.

Here's another close-up of his wing. This was a very thought out design and the finished piece is so beautiful. You can use the bird on a scrapbook page or even add it to a card.  So cute!

This caption was inked also and another file from Mary's svg's. I made a silhouette in eCal and glued it on. I glued the E a little too high and tried to adjust it but the glue, "Scotch Quick Dry" Really Stuck!...lol I'm famous for gluing things upside down too...LOL

I hope I've inspired you to create this beautiful paperscape or maybe something even more spectacular. Please drop me a line and share your creations with me. I would love to see them. Leave me a comment with your blog or website and I will post a link.

Have a wonderful Tuesday and I look forward to seeing you soon.
Autumn is in the air!

Beautiful Butterfly Accents

Beautiful Butterfly Accents

Yeah! It finally FRIDAY!

Hello my crafty friends!

I made these butterfly clips awhile back and thought I would share them with you.
They were so fun to make!

I was inspired by Penny Duncan. She created some Beautiful Butterflies and has some great tutorials. Click below

For the brown tone Butterfly, I cut the top wings out in thin .005 clear plastic..The bottom wing is cut is white card stock and I used Tim Holtz Distressed ink in browns and green. I then stamped with a flower design and added glitter and gems. I glued both layers together in the middle and also glued a silver clip between the top and bottom.

I used pink plastic from a file folder on this one and I distressed inked in the reds and browns.

The turquoise butterfly was cut in white card stock. I used Tri Chem Candy Creations glitter paints and added pearls, rhinestones and hears. I also added a silver clip so you can clip it on to most anything. I clipped them on my Mothers lamp and they looked so pretty when the lamp was turned on at night.
These darling butterflies will add a lovely touch to any present or scrapbook page or even in one's hair.
Simply Beautiful!

This butterfly was my first one to cut out in white card stock. The hearts are cut out and then I used Tri Chem Candy Creations glitter paints in the brown and yellow tones. I added pearls all over and used a pin back to be able to wear it on a sweater, coat or blouse. A nice effect with the hearts showing through to whatever color you put it on.

They were lots of fun to make and I'm sure that I will be making more. I hope I inspired you to create some of these cute butterfly.

Thanks for coming by and I wish you a wonderful weekend.

Take a moment to look at these Exquisite Butterfly pictures below!!

Rose Hydrangea Printed Pillow Box Free

Happy Thursday my Friends!

Another day in my crafty room, means more Exciting Creations to share with you.
While searching for new things to create, I came across Tania's lovely website here http://tania-wildheart.blogspot.com/2011/09/friday-freebie-hydrangea-rose-pillow.html
I found the most Beautiful and Colorful flowers that were made onto a pillow box template.

So, I printed it out and this is my finished product. Now, I would really like to make this into a svg file, because I cut this one out by hand. It didn't take long to cut out but it would be a wiz to cut on my eClips machine instead. Email me if you can give me any suggestions for a svg cutting file. Thanks

The finished box measure's approximately 6" x 4.5". It's a Nice size box!
I absolutely Love this box and will be making many more! It's so easy to Print and go! Now I will need to find some continuous inks for my printer...LOL

This is the back of the box with this Beautiful Colorful Blue Hydrangea

The paper was sooooo pretty printed out that I really didn't need to add much. Also it is extra large so it will hold lots of goodies. Great fast and easy box to make in a hurry!

And, the best part is, that she has MORE designs like these!!!

This is Sooooo Precious! I LOVE them ALL!

I made the scroll cutout a long time ago and had it in my stash. I believe it was one of Mary's files at svgcuts.com

Doesn't this look just like apple pie boxes :)
And I just might make some apple pies to put in these adorable boxes.
Yummmmy! Of course I would wrap the pies in plastic baggies so they wouldn't stain the box ;)

That's it for today my Friends!

Hope you have a wonderful Thursday and I will be seeing you again soon.
Remember this song sung by Bing Crosby?

"I'll be seeing you in all the old familiar places"

Roses n Pinks n Purples Oh My! Witch Lace up Shoe Card

Good day to all my Crafty friends!

Thought I would share with you my New Witch shoe cards.
I just had to make some fancy one's! LOL
They are so beautiful in person and I think they turned out divinely.
You can get this adorable file over at Lori's svg site below.
She is so nice and has lot's of fun files and a beautiful website. Go check it out!

This is the back of the card and noticed I folded it about an inch down so that the card can open up. Oh, I doubled the layers, so my card is nice and sturdy and can withstand any broom ride...hehe

Lot's of Pearls and fancy ribbon.
I printed out this Beautiful pink Rose and flower paper for Free at scrapbook.com
I love their digital papers!!!
Notice the pale pink pearls have ends on them....well I couldn't get close enough to cut those off. They were on a string and didn't have any others
.
Well, it's off to see the Wizard! LOL Anybody know where I can find some pearls cheap?

This was a bracelet that I had in my stash and cut and tied it to the pink ribbon.
I think it gives it a certain charm!
More Pearls, one at a time! I have patience now!
This was a really a fun card to make and I think it turned out adorable....for a Witch's shoe that is...lol Remember the Friendly Witch in The Wizard of Oz?
Was that Witch of the North-South-East or West? :)
She was sooo beautiful! Well, she would Love these adorable shoes! hehe

This witches shoe svg file is also from Lori's svg site below. You can get it there.

Yes, I had to have a Purple shoe! hehe hoho haha!

See the Red on the side of the shoe? That's the Red foil envelope that I will be putting it in.

I have a little story to tell you!
This is so funny....I had a 3rd grade teacher that Made me decorate our classroom for Christmas in, Yes you guessed it!
Red & Purple!!
 I thought she was a nut case...lol
I was brought up thinking you used Only Red & Green and maybe yellow for Christmas. Opps, does that date me! hehe  When she asked me to tape all those purple & red decorations up, I almost had a cow..LOL
I will never forget that and just had to share it with you. Too funny!
If she could see me now, I use all colors of the rainbow for my cards and creations but when it's Christmastime, it's
 Red, Green & Gold.

And, her name was Mrs Meanie! LOL

The shoes are a nice size measuring 6" tall by 4" wide and will fit into my foil envelopes nicely.

I used black velvet ribbon to lace up her shoe and added bright pink rhinestones.

For the bottom part of the shoe, I glued pale green rhinestones.
 Now, that takes patience! LOL

I also added Tim Holtz distressed brads and purple gathered ribbon.

That's it for today, folks!
I hope you have a merry day and come back to see me soon.
You never know what I will be sharing or creating next.
Maybe a pillow box to rest my weary head..hehe, haha hoho
HUGS!
