Santa's Helpful Elves & Skating Christmas Cardinal Magnets

Hi there my crafty friends!
I've been busy making these adorable 6" Christmas magnets. See my
older post on how these are put together using strong magnets here http://cardsbygeyda.blogspot.com/2014/07/hello-kitty-christmas-refrigerator.html

This cute little elf is from the "Santa's Helpful Elves kit"
You can get the Whole kit below

Adorable collection!

This is a close up of the embossing on his hat. The picture really doesn't do it justice.
He looks soooo cute!

I love how the hat  flaps over his face.

This is the cute skating cardinal from the " Merry & Bright kit.
You can get the whole kit below.
When you purchase two kits you will get this New Christmas Box Cards kit FREE

This is a closeup of the embossing. I actually stamp them with the embossing ink and put clean
embossing powder and heat set it. So, they are all shiny in real life. So cool! I really haven't used
much of my embossing things, but now I think I will be having fun with it.

I sure wish I had a crafting buddy close by to enjoy making all these wonderful creations.
Say, if you live close to Apple Valley, CA, drop me a line. Yes I know, where in the world
is Apple Valley LOL  I'm in the high desert and would love to hear from you.

I think these darling magnets are going to be a hit at Christmas.
Great to place on top of all your presents.
Also a great gift for teachers or to give out at the office, bank or special friends.

Hello Kitty Christmas Refrigerator Magnets

Hi crafty friends!
Today I have these adorable Hello Kitty magnet to share with you.
Are you ready for Christmas? Well, everybody seems to be getting ready
and I couldn't resist making these darling Hello Kitty magnets.

Last week svgcuttingfiles.com had a blog hop and gave away a lot
of Free Hello Kitty cutting files. I just had to make a few into magnets.

Isn't she darling, all ready for baking and to delight someone special on your list!
To begin, I resized her to approximately 6" tall. Then in eCal I put all the pieces together to
form the Kitty. Next, I made a shadow image around her for the base of my magnet. I cut
2 shadow layers out of white poster board and glued them together. Next, I cut 2 more shadow layers in black and glued
them together. You should have four layers glued. Then, your ready to ink and glue each piece in order until she is all finished. Add your details with black or white gel pens and some glitter or bow and she's done and ready for the magnet.
I then turn her over and glue a super strong magnet to the back.
With all the layers glued together, she is super strong like chipboard and ready to place on someone's
fridge or on a gift box and even in a page layout.

I glued an extra strength round magnet on the back, so it will have a firm grip when
you place it on a fridge. You can use most any type magnet in strips etc. I find that
the extra strength works the best for me.

I bought these at Joann's for around 2.99 a pack. If you find them for less, please let me know. Thanks

This little guy would also make a wonderful magnet and he's Free

That's it my friends for another day.
I hope that I've inspired you today with these darling Hello Kitty magnets. You can view
more magnets in my older posts.
You can make most any piecing design into a magnet and it's so fun and easy.
Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful day.

Parkside Row 3D Houses

Hello my dear friends.
I couldn't wait to share these adorable Victorian 3D houses with you.
Another First Class kit from svgcuts.com
See the link below.

This is the first house I made and of course I had to make it in my favorite color, burgundy and  white. I love
how it turned out. At first I thought it would be hard to make, but to my surprise, it
was so easy with Mary's step by step instructions. All of Mary's files are like putting
a puzzle together. Each piece fits perfectly into place. The top roof comes
off to place a tea light inside that glows at night. Great gift box and conversation keepsake also.

This is my third house that I made with the cute kitty sitting upstairs.
 I used Mary's
free tulip svg for accents. I Love these houses!

You can get the Tulip svg below

This was the second house that I made in bright yellow. Do you notice any difference in the two?
Well, if you look closely, you will see that on the white trim above the stairs, I glued the accent
trim on backwards. lol  You really can't notice it though. I can't begin to tell you how many
times I do that. if I'm not paying attention. LOL  I multi task :)

Mary's houses are adorable! I would love to make a blue one next and then maybe, just maybe
make a green one. They are so unique and adorable and really fun to make.

This is the whole kit that you can get Free with purchase.
Don't pass this one up!
