Today I started my Christmas cards using the "White Christmas kit"
from Birds cards here http://www.birdscards.com/store/index.php?route=product/product&path=65&product_id=197
This collection is simply Gorgeous.
Everything from beautiful cards and cutout matching Box envelopes
to gift tags all rolled up in one kit.
This is a Must have kit!!
It's starting to look like Christmas around here! Yes, only in my
crafty room though! lol It was near the 100's, so with the air conditioning, apple cinnamon
simmering and Christmas Music box playing, it feels and smells like
I'm ready for the Holiday to start.
I Love the Christmas season!
First up is the simply gorgeous Poinsettia 3d card. This was
so easy and fun to make! I used blue foil paper behind the
delicate white cutout to give it simmer and boy does it
glow. Beautiful card for that special person and truly a
cherished keepsake.
I embossed the blue foil to give it texture and added a
few clear rhinestones and also used white opaque marker
from Martha Stewart between the leaf cutouts for accents.
This is truly an amazing card and one of my favorites.
It doesn't have the green twig back layer like the rest of the
cards only because it fell off my table and.........
Opps.....guess who got it! lol
Yep, my Katie really enjoyed those green twigs. haha
Look at those puppy dog eyes saying well mom, you
dropped it just for me and it was sooo yummy. lol
Up next is this gold foil and red poinsettia card. I used gold
foil, but you can use most any color foil or cardstock if you
like.
The poinsettia is pop dotted to give it a 3d effect.
So stunning!
This is the first poinsettia card and Box envelope that I made
with all the pearls.
It fits perfectly in the Box and will arrive safely to
your friend or loved ones.
It's so Gorgeous!!
I glued white pearls and a white oval rhinestone to the center.
These darling tags are soooo adorable!
The picture doesn't do them justice. They are truly beautiful!
They were so quick and easy to make and
could be used on a card base or even an ornament for your tree.
I love them!!
I'll be making more of these for sure when I show my daughter this weekend.
She asked me to bring some sample Christmas cards. We need to start
making 150 of them for her clients in Berlin, India, Europe and more.
Can you imagine their faces when they open up this unique card.
These are definitely a WOW card!!
How about some Free Baubles from Bird!!
Here's a large collection of sweet Christmas ornaments for
your crafting pleasure.
Enjoy!

That's it my friends for another day.
I hope that I've inspired you to start your Christmas cards early
this year with these fabulous 3d beauties.
Have a great week!

Oh how adorable is Katie? Lilly likes to chew on pieces of card too and kept rubbing her nose against the gingerbread house when it was finished, I was sure she was going to make it soggy before I could photograph it. What would we do without our crafty companions to entertain us? lol
Your cards are gorgeous as usual and I love the embossing details you've added too.
You are so clever with colour Misty, you always seem to use a colour that I would never think of like today's royal blue but they always work amazingly!

Thank you Bird for your kind words. Katie is a true crafter and I'm sure Lily would love to be her buddy in crime. lol I enjoyed making all your beautiful creations and of course being a Leo, I Love lots of Color. haha
So glad you like my cards, Linda Flores and hope that I've inspired you today. Happy crafting!
Gorgeous cards Misty! It's hard to pick a favorite, but the pearls on the green and white one are just stunning. ~ Lee
