Easter Bunny Easel Card Plus Egg Cards

Hi, my crafty friends!
Here comes the Easter Bunnies, hopping down the Easter trail to bring
you a great Big smile.

I just had to make these cute little
bunnies. And, it's an Easel card that sits up so pretty on display.
This darling card was so fun to make and super simple to assemble.
I added a butterfly cutout that I made a while back. It fit
just perfectly and the color was right on. I had fun using some of my
embossing folders on the vest and bows.
Mix and match your colors for that perfect Easter card.

MyScrapchick is always having a Sale going on. Don't miss it!!!

Are they TOO cute or what!!!

Here comes the Easter eggs!!!!
Yes, these lovely scallop-layered eggs are cards with pretty flowers and they can
be displayed so gorgeous. I used lilac and shades of purple with
green and white accents. The embossing is the small dotted folder, but as you
will see, I used many folders and also colors.

You can get this card from MyScrapChick.

I used Tim Holtz's distress ink on the petals and added rhinestones.
I suppose I could have made these into a pin corsage also. Hmmmm
Wouldn't it be pretty to make a pin corsage on the egg card? So many ideas
are running through my head.
A really fun card to make and decorate for
someone special.

Next up is this pretty yellow, purple, and white egg card. As you can
see I used another embossing folder and this one was Anna Griffin.
Instead of the flowers, I made a rose corsage pin that fit perfectly
into the arrow slot near the bottom of the card.
After they receive the card, they will have a nice rose pin to wear.
I love it!
Here's the backing clasp on the Rose pin.
I just hot-glued it to the back.

Next up is my pretty pink, green, and white egg card.
This is another one to which I added the rose pin.
You can use so many different embossing folders and have fun
making these unique Easter cards.
Close-up of the Rose pin. They are so fun and easy
and make these Easter cards very special.

Up last and my Favorite one since I love burgundy. Do you see
something different on this egg card? Well, I added the heart
cutouts in eCal and used a Rose embossing folder. I also attached
the glittered burgundy rose pin.
I really love this one!
See, you can make these darling egg cards with so many different
colors and embossing folders. A very unique card for someone
special on your list. I don't think I will part with this one! smile

Faberge Luminary Egg Plus Easter Egg Cards

Hello my crafty peeps!
Yes, it's that time of year again to start making these gorgeous Faberge
Luminary eggs, boxes and cards.
Bird has a beautiful collection to get you in the mood.
Click on the link below to get this kit.

This is Bird's  gorgeous luminary egg. So beautiful in
gold  paper and pearls.

This very unique Faberge egg is so elegant sitting atop a pretty decorated
stand. I choose gold and turquoise paper and added rhinestones, flower, ribbon
and a pretty butterfly. I just happened to have turquoise velum.
You can decorate this to your taste in so many colors.
So fun and easy to assemble and a great gift for someone special to
treasure for years.

The best part is that this egg lights up. Yes, you can place a led light
inside and if you get the remote, you can flick it on and off.
 How fun is that!
Enjoy the beauty of this gorgeous Faberge
egg and light up your home.

I made a paper rose and added gems and bow.

Even though my butterfly was not the exact color, it gives contrast.
I also added tiny ribbon around each circular to hide my imperfection's. :)

This Bird's lovely egg card with the simmering gold dotted paper and
gold trim. Stunning!

Up next is this sweet egg card. I really enjoyed making this one and
as you can see I just had to make more than one. haha They were so quick
and easy to assembly with the step by step video. Great card!
My Eclips machine didn't like cutting my gold paper because of the laser.

But that didn't stop me for long! I fired up my Cricut Explore and it
cut like butter. Glad I have another machine as backup. lol I love them both!!

Up next is this pretty egg with rhinestones all around the rim and
sprinkled in between the gold bow and trim. The matching envelope is
so pretty with the rainbow colors and gold bow.
A beauty for anyone to receive.

Up next is my pretty purple egg card with a gold flower. The picture
doesn't do it justice. Its really quite elegant in person and
a beauty to send out to someone special.

I used the negative from the bow to make my flower and pop dotted each
petal. I then added a plastic flower topped with a rhinestone.

Yes, I use all my scraps especially if they are GOLD! haha

Fantastic 3D Paper Sculptures Shadow Boxes

Hello my crafty friends!
Spring is in the air and it's in the 90s here in Apple Valley. Yes, its that
time of year again and my tulips and fruit trees are in full bloom. I can't
wait for my roses to start blooming.
A gorgeous time of year!
When Leo from Dreaming Tree posted their NEW Paper Sculptures
I just couldn't resist making these beautiful shadow box creations.
Easy, Fun and Amazing!!

Up first is the Hummingbird shadow box. Leo's instructions calls for
a 12 x 12 wooden shadow box. Well, I didn't have one in my stash, so
I made a  6 x 6 paper shadow box.
The shadow box is from
3DCuts below

I would also like to create 3dcuts very pretty butterfly shadow box.
Click on the link below for this shadow box
Perfect picture!!
Wish my pictures were as sharp as this one!!

I edited the Shadow box so it was just the shadow box.
I resized my hummingbird and placed it inside the shadow box.
The finished size is 6 x 6.
I love that it has a hanger on top for wall
mounting. I followed Leo's tutorial  using the pop dots to give it dimension
and before I knew it, I had three beautiful mini paper sculptures ready
for hanging.

Next up is my Butterfly paper sculpture. I added the Free
Cricut scrolled Love to the top and made a shadow layer in black.
It fit perfect!

Next up is the Heart paper sculpture.
They are oh so beautiful in person.

So, if you don't have a 3D shadow box sitting around in your stash,
you can still make them lovely paper sculptures, using the 3D paper
shadow box and resize your project.

They were so quick and easy to assemble and would make a lovely
gift as a set or single for someone special or to just keep
for yourself.
And with the Free captions below you can
personalize them.

How about a Freebie from Dreaming Tree!!
Spring Captions!

That's it for another day my friends.
Have a happy week and don't forget to Spring Forward.

Many Hugs,
Misty

Hello again my sweet friends!
It's that time to Celebrate with these adorable and delightful Cupcake
Easel cards from Birdscards.com.
This whole collection looks so yummy that I just had to make these
adorable cupcake cards.
Celebrate With Cupcakes collection
Click on the link below

First up is this luscious pink and white swirled frosting with red and pink beads.
Yes, they are bugle beads from my beading. Thanks to Lee Cox for pointing that out.
 And of course my favorite
flavored cupcake is CHOCOLATE. lol
Isn't this just the cutest card!!
And there's more to see :)
Yes, the top pulls out to display your greeting. How
clever is that! And to top it off, it has an easel stand (see pic below)
that displays it on your mantel or table. I love it!

Next up is this yellow with dots and a swirl of chocolate.
You can make these darling cupcakes in any flavor or
colors. Hey, what about scenting the cupcake in your
favorite scent, so it would smell just like a yummy cupcake.
Just a thought! :)
You can pick and choose your sentiments and décor.
So fun and quick to make. As you can see, I couldn't
stop with just one cupcake. haha
I made this one without the top swirl and decorated it with
gold swirl sequins and blue card base. A perfect one for
a more masculine look. Hey they love cupcakes too! lol

Perfect for that special man or boy and grandpa on your list.
Who wouldn't love a cupcake!!!

Here's the back view showing the easel part of
the cupcake card. This is a very unique card for most
any occasion and will be the talk of the party.
Have fun making these cute cupcake cards and all the other
goodies that go with this sweet kit.
