Vintage Pocket Watch Wall Clock

Hello Hello!
Just popping in with our new creation for Fathers Day.
This special clock is going to my Dentist, who is a very wonderful person.  I've know him for many years. I hope he enjoys this beautiful handmade clock that was designed especially for him.

The clock file is from Mary's kit Maison de Madeline kit.
Click below

We went to the Clock Doctor here in Apple Valley. We found out that all clock motors are not created equal. All of my others clocks go pa dink pa dink pa dink! LOL  They work beautifully, but are loud. When I installed the clock motor and hands that I bought from him, it was silent and the second hand moved smoothly instead of Pa dink Pa dink...wow what a difference!
He gave us a clock book to order parts from and they are located in Scottsdale, Arizona, called TimeSavers.
click below to visit their page for clock parts and order a catalog.
Tell them that Herb The Clock Doctor sent you.

That's it for another day my friends.
Happy Crafting!

Black and White Checkered Apple Clock

Hello everyone!
Are you ready for another clock.......Yes???
My sister and I are having too much fun making all of these beautiful clocks. She suggests a clock that she would like to see and I start creating it in PSP and eCal.
We make a great team!

My Sizzix eClips machine is getting a workout lol

Black and White Checkered Apple Clock

This clock measures approximately 11" high and is a real working clock.
You can get the clock file from Mary's svgcuts link below.

A quick and easy clock to assemble!

You can get the clock svg file from Mary's Maison de Madeline kit.
Click below

This was our inspiration!
You can visit their website below.

We goggled apple clocks and found this metal clock to be most interesting. At first I envisioned just the thin lines as a silhouette, but as I worked with it in PSP it became a checkered clock :)
I love how it turned out and hope that you enjoy it also.

I made a FREE Spring cut Sentiment for you to enjoy.
Black silhouette  layer and  the Spr cut in one and the flower ing cut in one also. I welded it in eCal but it didn't connect. It turned out nice because you can see the r now. lol
I added a small circle to glue on the flower.  Please share any creations you make with it and I will post them here for everyone to enjoy.
Thanks
 Happy Crafting!

Large Sunflower 3D Clock

Hi again my crafty friends.
We designed our NEW Large Sunflower clock and couldn't wait to share it with you.
The clock file is from Mary's kit Maison de Madeline.
Thanks Mary for the inspiration!
You can get her clock file here.

I love the way it turned out and will be making more.

Instructions for the Sunflower.
In ecal in the shapes library under spring I used the daisy flower and broke it apart to use the petals only. For the large outside petal I cut two, one in white poster board and one in light yellow 12 x 12 card stock at 9.745 x 9.760 and glued them together and inked the edges with Tim Holtz distressed inks, Mustard Seed and Vintage Photo and touched a few tips with Black Soot. The next outside petals I cut two out of golden yellow 12 x 12  card stock at 8.827 x 8.854 and glued each one separately  to the first set, turning each one so it shows. I then added the clock face cut at  5.500x 5.497 and middle circle at 0.834x 0.834. The numbers are the same as Mary's original file. For the middle sunflower I resized each petal, large 3.052 x 3.060 Med 2.584 x 2.586 Small 0.814 x 1.816. If you need further instructions, please email me and I will be happy to help you.

I still need to find the working parts wholesale. If anyone knows where I can get them, please email me. Thank you so much.

That's it for another day my friends.
Hugs!

Maison de Madeline Large Rooster Clock

Hi my crafty friends!
Today I have something to "Crow" about!
On my last post, I made a small clock with gears for my daughter. For this clock, Suzanne suggested I make a very large clock using Mary's 3D Rooster card from the Maison de Madeline kit. I thought it would be a great idea since I have country in the kitchen.
I think it turned out adorable!
And, it's a real working clock!

Maison de Madeline Kit
You can get this kit below.
This is Mary's Rooster card using Graphic 45 papers.
Simply charming!
Click on the link below to get this kit.

This large clock measures approximately 11" round. In eCal I sized each piece. I cut 3 brown 12 x 12 card stock for the base and  beige for the face of the clock. The numbers were cut out of black card stock. I took the parts from an old clock that I had. The hands worked perfectly and the back had a large base for hanging. It was pretty simple to assemble once we figured it out. I think I'll be checking a few thrift shops for old clock parts. A fun and easy clock to make for yourself or someone special.

The Rooster was sized to fit and was cut from colored card stock and inked with Tim Holtz distressed inks.

He's the perfect addition to our kitchen decor and would also make a lovely gift. You can use most any design or theme on the face. So many possibilities and choices to pick from. If you are interested in making a large clock and need the sizes of each piece, please email me and I will be happy to share the sizes.

Maison de Madeline Gears Wall Clock & Table Lamp

Hello again my friends!
I hope everyone enjoyed Easter!
We had a wonderful time visiting my daughter in Lake Elizabeth for the weekend. She lives high on a hill that reminds me of a scene from "Sound of Music".
Her view is simply breathtaking with the beautiful green hills and the lake.

I wanted to make something special for my daughter so
I made this darling real working clock and  table lamp from Mary's Maison de Madeline kit.
Click below to get this amazing kit that comes with everything shown.
Leo also has a step by step video to follow!
Super fun!

I used paper from Tim Holtz Union Square pack. I just love how it turned out.
This was a very easy and simple project to make. I bought the clock parts at Wal-Mart and inserted it into the back of the clock face. For the gears, I pop dotted them around the face, but next time I may glue them for added strength.

I surprised my daughter & boyfriend with this darling clock and table lamp.
They Loved them!

I also used papers from the Tim Holtz collection in burgundy. Originally I thought this would be great in my daughters office but her boyfriend saw it and placed it on the banister for a night light. The tea light inside gave off a beautiful glow.
They both Loved their clock and lamp and couldn't believe that it was all made of paper.
Gotta love Mary's kits

I added a tiny chain just for show and shiny lace trim and black bow.

I simply love the Maison de Madeline kit!  Perfect and functional 3D projects for all your gift giving. As one of  Mary and Leo's followers, Sharalyn  on Facebook said, it would be so nice to give to your guest after their visit ends, so they have something special to take home.

Here's a sweet peak of  Mary's New kit!
