You can get this darling 3DNutcracker FREE ($6.99 Value)

Click on the link below to get it!

I used mixed colored beads and glittered them onto the cutout template accent pieces. I'm not good at making eyes so I used my google eyes. The one on the left picked up a shadow but they both look the same..hehe

I just Love his Hair!
My darling niece Lisa sent me a surpise package the other day and in it was this beautiful furry material. When I talked with her, I said that I loved it and would be able to use it in some of my creations.
Well, here's the first one!!
I just cut around Mary's hair template and glue it on and trimmed it up.
I love how it turned out!!

His Gold dotted cape is so stunning and fit for a king. I just love the paper I picked up at Joann's (The Coral Couture Stack). It comes with 48 beautiful glittered and gold/foiled heavy papers. I used coordinating papers from this stack and I just love how it turned out.

I just happened to find these adorable green glass like buttons in my mom's button stash. They worked perfectly and the gold bows finished them off.

You can see in the picture how pretty the stripped paper is. I just love it!

Here he is with his feather plume looking so fine!

He's ready and waiting for Christmas to begin!
I hope I've inspired you to start creating with Mary's wonderful kits.
I've had so much fun sharing them with you.

That's it for tonight folks!
Keep watching for more wonderful creations here. I'm working on some Ballet slippers next and a Christmas Tree exploding box.
Keep watching!

Time to Name that Song from my last post!

"This Little Light of Mine"

I have another story to share with you!

This was one of the songs that we sang for our Christmas show, in our Musical Kids group. For the main prop I used a large piece of plywood with a cutout star in the middle. I decorated it with silver and glitz and had the main singer stand behind it, while the rest of the kids held lighted candles. With the lights turned down low, it was a sensation. So much fun!
They were all sooo adorable!

Time to say goodbye to another weekend my friends!
I'll see you again on Monday to show you my incredible Ballet Slipper!

Have a great week and keep smiling!
Hugs

Icy Turquoise Snowflake Rosette Ornament

 Hello My Dear Friends!

My sweet niece.Lisa sent me this beautiful doll one Christmas. I simply adore her. I have her in my hall bathroom sitting there looking sooo pretty for the Holiday.
Thank you Lisa!!!! Hugs!

I have another gorgeous Christmas ornament to share with you today.
This beautiful Icy Turquoise Snowflake Rosette was made with yet another great file from Mary's svg site. You can get this kit Free a $6.99 Value FREE!

This is Mary Rosette Snowflake! Beautifully decorate with buttons and twine. Great
for those special gifts around the Holidays. Sooooo pretty!!

I just love how this one turned out! So fast and simple to assemble! After I took this picture, I though how sweet it would be to make a tiny one to go around the dolls neck. So cute!

Has anyone tried using the Air Brush to preserve your projects?  Yes, another New toy to get!! LOL
I'm thinking of spraying Polyurethane on my ornaments to preserve them.  Linda Hurley on Mary and Leo's Facebook page used it on her Christmas Ornament earrings and they looked beautiful. If you have any information you would like to share, I would be happy to hear from you.

I used stretchy sequins and tucked it between the snowflake and dotted it with the glue gun.

This the backing of the sequins I used. It stretchy and worked great! I had this left over from our Musical kids group when I made all those Sequin Vests.

This will give you an idea of what's it's made of. I'm sure the price has gone up since I bought it in LA.

 Really neat to work with!

There are so many ways you can display this beautiful snowflake. As a gift for someones tree, on a package or even hanging on a wreath. Super fun to make!

That about it for today folks! I hope you enjoyed my creation and have a wonderful day.

Keep checking back for more exciting projects!

Mary and Leo are releasing their New Christmas kit tonight!!!!

3D Hanging Christmas Tree Ornament

Hello My Dear Friends!
Hope your day is full of sunshine and happiness!
Today I made this darling 3D Christmas Tree Ornament to share with you.
I just love how it turned out!
Yes, this is another wonderful file from Mary's Christmas Ornaments kit.

This is Mary's picture of her tree. Isn't it so adorable with the swirl candy and green bell on top?
You can get her Christmas Ornament kit Free with purchase below

This is the tree I made to go with all my ornaments.
I cut it all out in white card stock except for the top part which I glued Christmas stripped paper to. The rest were inked with Tim Holtz inks. I embossed the bottom green layer with dots and the red layer with berry holly and added red and green rhinestones.

You really can't see the berry holly embossing on the red in the picture, because its so faint. I should have run it threw a second time or inked it first.

The dot's came out great!
I ran some gold twine down the top opening and added one bell for the ringer and three on top of a white chiffon bow.

Inside view of the ringer.

I just Love my Christmas Tree Ornament!!
I hope I've inspired you today!

It's that time again!!
This was one of our songs in our Musical Kids group that we sang for our Christmas show.

Christmas Lace Doily Snowflake Ornament

 Hello my Dear Friends!
Today I would like to share this Beautiful Doily Snowflake Ornament.
 I just Love it!
This is another Great file from Mary's Christmas Ornaments kit below.

Get this kit Free with purchase!

You can watch Leo & Marys Great tutorial here.

This beautiful Snowflake Ornament, cut just like butter with my Sizzix eClips machine.
I cut two doilies and hot glued each one to the tiny star as a base.
I just happened to have this beautiful pink mauve lace in my stash. It worked perfectly!
I just tucked it around  and between the two doilies, no glue.
I looped the lace for the top hanger and hot glued it.

The tiny pearls were tacked at the top only, so they would be free moving. I also added four oval clear gems and hot glued a rose to the center.

Please don't be intimated by the details in this beautiful Snowflake.
The machine does all the work! LOL
I will be making more of these beautiful Snowflakes! Great file!
Great gift for your special person and family or on Your tree.
 Or, perhaps a Queen!

Now it's that time again!
I love this song so much that I couldn't wait to post it. LOL

Name that Song!
"Music Box Dancer"
Enjoy!

Have a great week and keep watching for more fabulous creations.

Hugs!

Walk Down Memory Lane Christmas Tree 3D Ornaments Birdcage n Spindle

This is Mary's Darling Birdcage ornament, one of many.
You have to check out Mary's Christmas Tree Decorations!
You can get this Christmas kit FREE with a purchase here

This Free offer has expired, but you can still buy it if you like.

Hello, my Dear Friends!

As you can tell, I'm in the Christmas mood and even changed my blog to prove it...LOL

Yes, I dearly Love the Christmas Holiday! So much so, that I would leave all my decorations up, All Year Long. I just Love all the beautiful bright shiny decorations. These adorable Tree decorations would be a wonderful gift for a neighbor or someone special. Great keepsakes!

Someone asked if I had my Tree up yet, as they saw greens in my pictures. I took my mom's little Tree out to hang these ornaments because it was an easy setup. As for my Large Tree, I think I will bring it out next week because it takes me more than a day to get it all decorated. When it's up, I will share a few pictures. I just Love Christmas!

This is my little Birdcage ornament decked out in GlitzyGreen and Red. A really fun file to cut out and assemble! The little bird is two-sided and the paper I used had red holly in it. I must have placed it perfectly on my cutting mat because it made a Perfect eye...lol

I added a green glittered ribbon down the outside of the cage after it was put together. Next time I think I will glue it on before I put it all together, as it would be much easier.

Of course, I had to add a splash of red pom poms and a tiny red bow with Gold bells on it to give it that finishing touch. I really love how it turned out!
Great for gifts for a special friend or family.
Super fun and fast to make!

This is Mary's Beautiful Spindle Christmas Tree Ornament.
You can get all Five of the Christmas Tree Ornaments.

This is what's in her kit! I Love them All! Soooo Pretty!

This is my  Spindle Ornament and I used paper from The Coral Couture Stack. I just love this pack!
I added the gold stretchy cord around each middle and also on top and added a red jewel around.

You can see how beautiful this paper really is and it's nice and heavy also. Great paper!

This is from the same paper but in a soft cream design and also the dotted.

This is a backside view. Gorgeous paper!

Full view of the back.

I love how this turned out!
Great for all your Holiday decorating and gift-giving. Super fun and fast to make.

I just Love all of Mary's Ornaments and will be making more.

Time to name that tune again!

"Button Up Your Overcoat"

I have a story to share with you about this song.

Years ago when I home-schooled my youngest daughter (3rd grade-High School), we started a Musical Kids group with just a couple of neighbor kids and it grew to over 50 happy singing and dancing kids. We performed a Broadway and Christmas show and this was one of our songs. She wore a black velvet jacket with a top hat and cane and sang "Button Up Your Overcoat". My daughter was in 3rd grade at the time and did all the choreographing for our shows. We even made up our entrance song on the way to her piano class one day and couldn't stop singing it..lol  So began our little group of singing kids! We just loved performing for retirement homes, Lawrence Welk Resort, and Sea World. We did this for six wonderful years, until one day my daughter came to me and said, Mom, I'm getting too big and want to concentrate on my college now. She was only in 8th grade and was way ahead of her years. High school to her was a breeze and before I knew it, she was enrolled in the Jr. college. She came home one day and said that she was asked to instruct the class because the teacher didn't show up. She was sooo thrilled and honored and the students just loved her. Talk about a smart cookie, she continued on to be on the Dean's list and went on the Biola University and graduated with Honors.

Today, she is a successful businesswoman and traveling all over the world.
She founded her company Marketing and Public Relations Agency.

And, I'm the PROUD MOM!!! LOL
Fond Memories!

Oh, I forgot to mention this.
See all those sparkling vests each child is wearing? Yep, I made them all with Aleen's glue, stretchy sequins, gray flannel, and ribbon. All cut by hand! Whew!
Wished I had my Cricut or Eclips machines. lol
Hey, I was crafty back then too LOL

 SHHHHHHHHHH
Don't tell her I shared this pic of her with the New iPhone she got me.....she will kill me!
She's the tallest one in the middle back row, third from the left. Shhhhh
Is that a happy smile or what!!

Oh, see that background? Yes, my sister designed it with felt and vinyl, all
cutout by hand in my living room.
We didn't have a cutting machine back then.
She also made a New York setting for our Broadway shows in her spare
time from designing at our Flower shop. She's so talented and I was blessed
to have her be apart of our group.
