Poplar Street Easter Egg Shaped Box

Spring Daffodil Days Pieced Card

Spring is in the air!
I'm so excited to share this beautiful Spring card with you.
I just Love the pretty Spring colors!
I saw this lovely card on Crystal's blog, and was inspired to make one.
Everything is cut on my Eclips machine, even the base of the card.
Oh I did use the McGill punch for the sentiment and the Lady Bug is a Jolee sticker.
Instead of the fancy topper die, I used a banner within the Ecal software and re-sized it to fit within the stripped black paper.

I also made the green envelope with my handy dandy We R Memory Envelope Punch board.
 I LOVE IT!

You can view Crystal's beautiful Daffodil card below.

This is a Free cutting file from svg cutting files.

Click below to get the Daffodil FREE svg.

I used lemon and black twine and of course
it needed a Lady bug 3
d sticker.

The itty bitty stamp is from the Dutch Mustard Soup kit at Unity stamps.

One of these cards will be going to my daughter's friend for her Birthday in March.
I sure hope that she will love it and enjoy it as much as I had making it.
I used green for the base card and green with white dots and two shades of green for the bow.
The smile stamp came from the same kit from Unity.

I pop dotted the Daffodil and added a couple green gems.
I love how both cards turned out. Each one unique!
Great FREE file!

That's it folks for today!
Have a happy week and keep watching for New and exciting creations.

Postage Stamp Shaped Cards

Hello my crafty friends!
Today I'm sharing my lovely Spring cards from the Cutting Cafe
 "Postage Stamp Shaped template".
You can get the Postage Stamp Shaped Card file here

This was a really fun and quick card to make. I just love Regina's files!
I cut the postage stamp card base out in bright yellow and white card stock. I used Tim Holtz Distressed  "Mustard Seed" ink around the edges.
For the tiny postage stamp I printed out
the sentiment in yellow by my sister's request :)

This is her example of the silhouette card.
The beautiful black silhouette scene that I used is a Free cutting file By Bird.
Bird offers All her files FREE!
Sign up for her newsletter so you don't miss any of her great files.

The cutout sentiment "Spring" is a FREE svg file by Mary and Leo.
Click below to see all their First Class FREE svg files.

For the inside of the card I used two stamps from "Dutch Mustard Soup" kit.
. I think they were perfect for this card.
 I Love Unity stamps!
You can get the stamps kit below.

For the second card I just reversed the colors and I think it gives a totally different look.
I added a black button with twine to the top right sun and cutout Bless Our Home. Since the ribbon had dashes I put white dashes around the outside of the silhouette.
I just love how it turned out!

Standup view of the postage stamp shape.

Two darling cards that can be created quite differently if you change the colors and silhouettes or pictures.

Also I made both envelopes with my "We R Memory Keepers Envelope Punch Board".
I LOVE the Envelope maker!!!
I can't begin to tell you how Easy and fast it is to use.
It's a MUST have in my book!
I bought mine from scrapbook.com and it arrived in just 3 days. But, it was one of the last ones that they had in stock.
If you want one, you can put in your request and when they arrive, they will ship it right out.
Great customer service!!!

That's it for today my friends!

This little Lady Bug is a Jolee boutique3D.

I cut and sized the postage stamp file, printed the pdf love you and added a gem. I used
pop dots behind it to give it dimension.
I think a little black soot distressed ink would have been nice around the edges, but didn't think of that until after my picture. Next time! LOL

I stamped a itty bitty Unity stamp from the Dutch Mustard Soup collection inside.
 Gotta Love that set!

On the inside I used two Unity stamps that I received in the Grab sale.

 Hello my special friends!
Today I'm poppin in with three Very special Valentine cards to share with you.

The first one up is this Adorable Valentine Patchy Bear. Don't you just want to Hug him?
He was so fun to make and really easy to assemble and ink.
This little darling comes from Paper piecing by Nikki.

He was a Free file a few days ago!

I created the cutout "Sweetie Pie" and would Love to share it with you. I only have the Scut file. It comes with a shadow background but I didn't use it on the bear.
If you would like this Scut file, please click on the typewriter on the top right of my blog and  put in "Valentine SweetiePie" and I will send it to you.
Enjoy!

After I posted him I was thinking that he would have looked nice with a dotted cutout border. Since I had already glued the gems down, I could only add a cutout strip to the bottom. Next time I may use my Martha Stewart fringe punch all around the card base to give it that finished touch. I knew it needed something.... lol

This is one of the envelopes that I Made using We R Memory Envelope Punch board!!
Read all about it below!

I used Unity stamps on the inside of the Patchy Bear card.
The dotted heart is one stamp.
 I love Unity stamps!
The Smile is a itty bitty stamp.
The nobody Sweeter is one stamp.
I grabbed these stamps in the Grab bag sale that they had a few weeks ago.
I Love them All!

Beautiful Seed Packet Holders

Hello my friends!
Yesterday was 78 degrees here in Apple Valley.
Yes, I couldn't believe it! Soooo, I had a great day gardening and trimming back the rest of my roses. I have roses wall to wall, so to speak and I LOVE them all.
They are so beautiful when they all bloom and smell so fragrant.
This was the perfect project for me today.

These adorable little Seed Packet Holders are from The Cutting Cafe.
They are so quick and easy to assemble and make a wonderful little gift for any Gardening friend.
Just pop in a packet of flower seeds or print a pretty picture and there you  have it.
Great to have handy for a quick gift for that special person.

Of course I started with my Favorite, " Roses"!!!
For my first packet I used paper from the  Coral Couture stack.
The seed packet cutting template and PDF sentiment "For Your Garden" is from the Cutting Cafe here....

I printed the roses from the Smithsonian library.
Click below to view lots of Gorgeous flowers and seed packets.

The Caption "Spring" is a FREE svg file at Mary & Leo's site here

For this seed packet I just happened to find a Real seed packet in a drawer that must have been one my mom had put away for safe keeping :) It's from the National Home Gardening club and fit perfectly inside the packet. I added buttons and a flower.
.
The Adorable little frog is another FREE svg file from Mary & Leo's here

I printed the girl holding the flowers packet from the Smithsonian Library here

I used stickers that my Niece Lisa sent me awhile back and cutout the 10 cents from the Cutting Cafe PDF file that comes with the Seed Packet cutting file.
This is a sample that Regina made into a gift set.
Great idea and soooooo colorful!
I Love Black Eyed Susan's!

There you have it folks!
Another Beautiful sunny crafting day!
