Hawaiian Tropical Hula Bears & Red Parrot Magnets

Introducing the Aloha Hula Collection from MyScrapChick.com

These darling Tropical magnets will dance their way into your heart.

Yesterday, here in Apple Valley, we had a record heat wave close to 120.
Yes, that HOT and it's not our summer yet!

I was dreaming of  Hawaii , while sipping my cool frozen fruit drink (Spinach,Strawberries,Banana's,Boysenberries Yummy)and
making these tropical cuties into Magnets LOL
Fun Fun Fun!

The Hula girl bear was fun to make with her little grass skirt and flowers.
To make all these sturdy, I cut a back silhouette out of heavy white poster board
and two out of black, then glue them together and added hands, face and extras.

On the back I glued a strip of magnet so you can place them on a fridge
or something magnetic. They can even be placed on a card or in a scrapbook page.

All these Hawaiian  darlings came from My Scrap Chick.

Gorgeous Decorative Hat Pins

Hello my dear friends!
I have been busy making these beautiful Hat pins to put on some of my cards.
I was inspired by Christina's Hat pins, over at card
making magic.
Click below to see all her beautiful Hat pins.

I simply love this blue set with the heart charm. I'm sure they will look
lovely on any one of my cards or hats.

The pink speckled bead and heart shaped beads are so pretty.

There are so many different designs you make with the beads.

Green is one of my favorite colors.

I had so much fun making these Hat pins.
I am going to order the 6 inch Hat pins with end caps next time.
That way it will give me room for more beads and actually be
secured to a card or hat so it won't come off.

Check out Christina's instruction video.

That's it for another day my friends.
I hope that I've inspired you once again.

Have a wonderful week!

Blooming Strawberry Box Card and Princess Castle

Hi my crafty friends!
It's blooming strawberries here in Apple Valley.
And, yes my apples are starting to
get bigger on my trees.
It will soon be time to make my delicious apple sauce and apple
dumplings, yummy.

Today I would like to share these adorable Box cards from  Leo & Mary at svgcuts.
The link for all these darling box cards are below.

The Strawberry box card was so fun and quick to assemble.
And the best part is, it is beautiful to display and
it folds completely flat for mailing.
It comes with a svg envelope which is very nice and
can also be used together with the box envelope. Just slip your finished card
into it and place it inside the Box envelope for added protection.

Checkout the box envelope I made below with the envelope punch board below.

This is Mary's sample of the strawberry box.
Isn't it just the cutest card you ever saw!

I used bright and light pink card stock and added glitter and gems. I think next
time I will emboss the steeples  and add a few flower pots etc.
Another fun card to make and would bring a smile to any little girl or boy.

Shirley,Goodness and Mercy Chicken Magnets

Hello my friends!

I just had to share these adorable chicken refrigerator magnets with you today.
They come from My Scrap Chick.
The link is at the bottom of this post.

She's having a really BIG SALE right now, until May 1st I believe.
Don't miss out!!!

The first chick up is this darling pink striped chick with an umbrella in her hand.
This is a piecing pattern that you glue on each piece.
I made a silhouette in the ecal program and cut one in black and two in white card stock so it would
be strong and sturdy. I glued  all the pieced to the black card stock. I inked and added gems then glued a strip of magnet to the back. Great for your refrigerator, metal cabinet or anything metal.
You can also put them in a scrapbook or on a card.

This sweet little darling is just singing in the rain. LOL
Yes, we did have one day of rain here in Apple Valley, but it only dropped a little rain. It seems
that the rain gets blown to the mountains near me and almost always passes over quickly.

This little sweetie pie was fun and easy to make with her basket of eggs.

She's the shopping chick with her cute little hat and pretty sunflower.
Adorable magnets for any fridge.
Every home should have these sweet chicks on their fridge/
Great gifts!
Just in time for Spring!

.

You can get the cutting files below at My Scrap Chicks.
They are on sale until May.

That's it for another day my friends.
I hope that I've inspired you once again.

Have a wonderful week!

Hi my crafty friends!
It's time for Butterflies and warm weather here in Apple Valley.

car while I was at a stop. It was so colorful and pretty.

Today I made this very pretty and delicate Butterfly Easel card from white
and colored card stock.  Using my Sizzix Eclips machine it cut like butter.
This was a really quick and easy card to make.
I love the way it turned out.

Fluffy Easter Bunny Magnet and Stained Glass Butterfly Magnet

Hello my dear friends!
Just hopping in to share these adorable refrigerator magnets that I made.

So fun to make and would look great on a fridge, package or card.

You can get the Fluffy Bunny and Bear over at My Scrap chicks

She has so many darling creations on her site.

This was the most delightful Butterfly magnet that I've made. And, the best part is that it's Not
tiny pieces that you have to glue on. Nope, it has 6  layers that you cut out in different colors, each one
with more cut out. Just glue each butterfly in order and your done. The last two layers
take a little more time putting the glue on but the end result is magnificent. I put a strip
of magnet to the back so I can put it on my fridge. Great gift for someone special on your list.

Here's the closeup and you can see that the last purple layer takes a little longer to put your glue on. I
thought of putting it in my sticker maker  but the glue would be in the open holes. It's like therapy and I took my time putting the glue around each curve and finally it was ready to go. I made 5 and I will be making another 5 in different colors.
You can create all different colors and combinations.
Simply beautiful!

This Beautiful Stained Glass Butterfly was from
MissKatesCuttables.com and it was a Free file last week but
now you can get it for only 50 cents. Get on their mailing list and you will receive Free cutting files.
I Love this file and it cuts like butter on my Sizzix Eclips machine.

That's it for another day my friends. I hope that I've inspired you once again.

Have a great week!
Hugs,
Misty
